Cancer Support & Advice:
Although Pink Wishes is not a charity, the Cancer
Support & Advice Section has been developed
by Lynn a Breast Cancer survivor. Lynn wanted to
share her knowledge with others affected by the
disease.
This section is filled with the kind of information that
Lynn
was seeking when she was first diagnosed. Hair to Ware have kindly
given editorial regarding Hair Pieces & Wigs, Nicola Jane have provided
us with excellent editorial on Bras & Prosthesis, and several therapist's
have provided us with editorial on complimentary therapies.
Some of our our regular visitors have sent in poems and tips - little things
thathelped them or a loved one on their journey with cancer.
We also have a fantastic
Holiday section
perfect for those who are looking
to take a break before, during or after treatment. Lynn found it particularly
beneficial to have a few days away before staring her chemotherapy & Radiotherapy treatment. We also have details of FREE Holidays, and day trips available or people affected by the disease, including a list of
Charities who supply Holidays for young people with Cancer and their families.
Pink Wishes also organise wellbeing days, for people affected by cancer, they give the opportunity for
sufferers, and survivors, to experience a host of complementary therapies designed to promote healing,
health and wellbeing. The commitment to providing and promoting these days is wholly important to
Pink Wishes as we want to help people live life to its fullest extent, a key philosophy of the site itself.
We love hearing from you, and we therefore invite you to send us your inspirational artwork, biographies,
pictures, stories, poems and verses, so that we can include them in this section.
