Hopi Ear Candles or (Thermal Auricular Therapy)

Hopi ear candles are an ancient natural therapy long used by the North American Indians; the word Hopi means “peaceful people”, who discovered this therapeutic and natural way to improve their health and spiritual wellbeing.

Hopi candles are not candles as we know them but organic hollow cotton tubes with a filter at one end and made using pure ingredients including, flax, beeswax, sage, chamomile, beta-carotene, herbs and essential oils.

Treatments are conducted listening to music, in a warm relaxed atmosphere; a lit candle is placed and held just inside the ear, producing a soft hissing sound.

Both ears are always treated, with each candle taking approximately 10 minuets to burn down, during this time  the   gentle heat and vibration from the flame combine creating  a vortex of warm air which massages the inner ear and helps to draw out wax and residue into the base of the candle,  once the candle is removed a beneficial massage is given around the ear and neck area helping to drain the sinus and lymph nodes, this is followed by a final soothing head and facial massage, draining the sinus area and leaving you completely relaxed, with some even falling asleep.

This relaxing and beneficial therapy may help to improve: Sinus, Rhinitis, excessive ear wax, headaches, stress and more. Hopi candles cannot be used for those who have a recent perforated ear drum, grommets, severe infection or inflammation of the ear.  Overall this relaxing and beneficial treatment can be enjoyed by adults and children helping improve their health and wellbeing.
